Notice to Customers relating to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (the “PDPO”) (“Notice”)
PrimeCredit Limited, its holding companies, subsidiaries and other subsidiaries of its holding companies (together the “Group”) (and each being the “Company”, “we”, “us”, “member of the Company”, “Group Members” or “member of the Group”, where as appropriate) recognize their responsibilities in relation to the collection, holding, processing, use and/or transfer of personal data under the PDPO. Personal data will be collected only for lawful and relevant purposes and all practicable steps will be taken to ensure that personal data held by the Group is secure and accurate. We will take all practicable steps to ensure the security of the personal data and to avoid any unauthorized or accidental access, erasure or other uses.
Customers and individuals who provide their personal data to the Company should read this Notice in conjunction with the Online Security Tips, Website Declaration, Mobile App Conditions of Use, and any other policy and/or notice related to the collection and use of personal data by the Group, issued from time to time. Customers and such individuals should ensure that they understand how their personal data will be collected and used as well as their rights with regards to such data.
I. Purpose and Use of Personal Data Collection
You need not supply any personal data in order to access this website or mobile application. When you participant in our activities, access, sign up or subscribe to any of our services or online content, personal data is collected from you to enable the Company to provide you with the services. You may decline to provide us with the requested personal data, but in such case, we may not be able to provide the services to you. II. Types of Personal Data Collected
Personal Data collected by the Company may include, without limitation:
1. Your personal information and contact details, such as your name, gender, date of birth, mobile number, social media accounts, email address, address, mailing and/or delivery address;
2. Your business information, such as company name and business title;
3. Your account information, such as the first 6 digits and/or the last 4 digits of your credit card number, or your user accounts, user name, password and security questions for authentication;
4. Your payment transaction details with the Company;
5. Technical and customer support, where we may ask you to provide your contact information and information related to the issue that you contact the Company. We may also record the calls and conversations between you and the Company;
6. Your personal hobbies and leisure activities; and
7. Your IP address, real-time geographic location data, browser settings, browsing history or other Internet log information of your computer or mobile devices.
We may access, use and/or process your biometric data including but not limited to fingerprints and facial images stored on your mobile devices or other device for the purpose of conducting identity verification (if applicable). However, we will not collect nor store such data.
III. Disclosure of Personal Data
All personal data collected and held by the Company will be kept confidential but in accordance with the conditions, we may, for the purpose(s) and usage set out in paragraph I above, provide, transfer or disclose such personal data to any one or more of the following parties (whether within or outside of Hong Kong):
1. Any Group member or its affiliates;
2. Any agent, distributor, contractor, supplier, business partner or third party service provider who provides administrative, professional, consultation, telecommunications, computer, payment, data processing or other services to us;
3. Any authority with jurisdiction over all or any part of the Group;
4. Any actual or proposed assignee of the Company or participant or sub-participant or transferee of the Company's rights in respect of the Data Subject;
5. Subject to the conditions set out in paragraph IV, and for the purpose(s) and usage set out in clause 14 under paragraph I:
(1) any member of the Group;
(2) third party financial institutions, insurers, credit card companies and related services providers;
(3) third party reward, loyalty, co-branding and privileges programme providers;
(4) co-branding partners of the Company; and
(5) charitable or non-profit making organizations.
IV. Direct Marketing
1. Your personal data may be used for direct marketing purposes, and the Company requires your consent for this purpose (including no objection).
2. Your Name, contact details, purchase and spending history, transaction patterns and payment behaviour may be used in direct marketing.
3. The following classes of services, products and subjects may be marketed:
(1) financial, insurance, credit card, health welfare and related services and products;
(2) reward, loyalty or promotion programs and related services and products; and
(3) donations and contributions for charitable and/or non-profit making purposes.
4. The above services, products and subjects may be provided or solicited by us and/or the party(ies) described in clause 5 under paragraph III.

In addition to marketing the above services, products and subjects itself, we also intend to provide the data described in clause 2 under paragraph IV above to all or any of the persons described in clause 5 under paragraph III above for use by them in marketing those services, products and subjects, and we require your written consent (which includes an indication of no objection) for that purpose.
6. We may receive money or other property in return for providing your personal data to the other persons described in clause 5 under paragraph III above. When requesting your consent or no objection as described in clause 7 under paragraph IV above, we will inform you if we will receive any money or other property in return for providing such data to the other persons.

1. Under and in accordance with the PDPO, you have the right to:

1. Types of Personal Data Held
Your personal data held by PrimeCredit include but not limited to identification information, contact details, account information etc. Such personal data is necessary for you to supply to PrimeCredit from time to time in connection with the opening or continuation of accounts, provision of services, and handling of enquiry or complaint.

4.1 PrimeCredit maintains and executes retention guideline of records containing personal data to ensure personal data is not kept longer than is necessary for the fulfillment of the purpose for which the data is to be used. Different retention periods apply to the various kinds of personal data collected and held by PrimeCredit in accordance with policies in the retention guideline.
4.2 If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential, and you must not disclose it to any third party. If your mobile number is used for account login, you shall ensure that a timely update is made to PrimeCredit by sending an email to [email protected] when your mobile number is to be changed or returned to your mobile operator. This is important to ensure that your account information will not be accessed by a third party who may have acquired the right to use your discarded mobile number. You are solely responsible for securing your account in this particular way. We shall have no liability to you for any loss or damage in this regard.

PrimeCredit takes all practicable steps to protect all personal data, including sensitive personal data, PrimeCredit holds against loss, unauthorized access, use, modification, disclosure, processing or erasure. PrimeCredit provides training to its employees to ensure that its employees handle personal data properly.
